Even if compost is left in a light airy room throughout the day, closing all doors and windows in the evening when the air humidity is high can protect the compost from moisture. When manure becomes wet, it tends to clump, making it more likely to be damaged when farmers apply it to crops later.
Knowing the simple methods of manure maintenance can keep it safe at any time. The room where manure is stored should be dry and clean. Care should be taken not to stick manure bags on the walls and ceiling of the house.
It would be best to have separate shelves in the room where the manure bags are stored. It will be easy to know which fertilizer has arrived first and which has been kept for storage later. Don't waste old manure sacks for no reason.
